Cast Your Vote Today! Help Embark Sustainability Continue to Cultivate Change!
Hello, our beloved Embark Sustainability Community
Imagine a university world where accessible gardens nourish our bodies and cultivate communal, personal and cultural connections to food justice and foster sustainable change. Embark Sustainability operates four Learning Gardens across Simon Fraser University, offering university students an invaluable zero-cost opportunity to develop hands-on gardening and food literacy skills. Our program goes beyond growing vegetables; it inspires students to explore concepts like food justice, recognizing the inequities embedded in colonial food systems.
Now, we turn to you with a call to action. By casting your vote for Embark Sustainability, you can help us secure the Gardens for Good grant, providing the necessary resources to maintain and expand our Learning Gardens to continue to grow our actions to address systemic challenges within our climate and food systems.
From now until June 25, 2023, every vote counts. Stand with us and strengthen our chance to receive $7,500 in grant money. Follow the steps below, let your voice be heard, and pay this information forward.
