Hello! My name is Nicole and I’m excited to join Embark as the new YouTube Content Coordinator.

 

As a first-generation Chinese Canadian, I recognize the competing relationship between two significant aspects of my identity: my cultural background and care for sustainability. My interests are in uncovering and learning about the intersection of environmental sustainability, culture, and lifestyle.

 

 

I have a passion for community building, storytelling, and a goal to create meaningful human-centred experiences. As a senior design and communication student, I hope to leverage media tools to support education and push toward more sustainable communities.

 

I see joining Embark as an opportunity to connect with peers and collaborate in a motivating, enthusiastic, and creative setting. I look forward to growing and creating a difference within this community.

 

In my free time, I like to bake, ride my bike, thrift, play board games with friends, and tend to my plants.
