Mudassir Noor

Hi, I’m Mudassir. I studied finance and accounting under the Edexcel IAL curriculum before coming to SFU as an engineering student. In my current program, I have completed two co-op terms as a software developer at Copperleaf Technologies, a company that provides decision analytics for industries to manage their critical infrastructure and assets. I have also practiced strategic planning skills and accumulated project management experience through proactive consultation with product owners, stakeholders, and the sales team. From these experiences, I am sure I will be an asset to Embark as the treasurer, assisting the Executive Director in developing the annual budget and reviewing the monthly finances and spending. Given that Embark has consistent funding, my expertise can be utilized to analyze and strategically implement financial plans for companies.

It is also my interest to evaluate and minimize risks, to ensure security and transparency for the organization; and to extensively test and familiarize myself with complicated situations to maximize reliability.
