I have fostered a deep passion for sustainability for as long as I can remember and I’m so excited to join Embark Sustainability as the new Programs Manager! Can you say #DreamJob?

Embark Sustainability Programs Manager

I’m endlessly fascinated by the interconnectivity of the environment and how we fit ourselves into it. I believe that to solve environmental problems, we must approach it in a multi-faceted and interdisciplinary way. This means that sustainability must include reducing barriers, reaching across differences, and increasing dialogue. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences from UBC and focused my studies on physical sciences such as hydrology and meteorology. I also have an extensive retail management background and I’m thrilled to direct my love of learning, teaching, and coaching into empowering Embark’s members to become sustainability leaders.

Outside of work and academic experiences, I love being involved in community events and environmental charity work. I have been involved with SPEC: the Society Promoting Environmental Conservation since 2014 and am currently a Director, Board Secretary, and Energy & Transportation Committee Secretary.
