Soapstand provides people access to everyday necessities easier, cheaper and faster than ever before while eliminating single-use plastics. The project provides zero-waste alternatives to a variety of personal care and cleaning products right at your front doorstep. Located in SFU residence, Soapstand is providing a lifestyle geared towards environmental and health conscious people who live fast-paced lives and need fast-paced solutions.
Being a student, we’ve all been through the shocking experience of realizing after its too late that we ran out of shampoo or body wash. Instead of procrastinating a trip to the store, you can buy natural products such as body wash, shampoo, detergent, deodorant, toothpaste and other products in the convenience of your own home.
Soapstand believes that buying environmental, local and natural products can reduce our collective environmental footprint. There is a growing group of people who believe in natural, eco-friendly products and Soapstand wants to support these individuals in their transition into a more sustainable lifestyle by facilitating the use of refillable containers.
