Winter and mid-terms are closing in. Leave your stress behind you and join us at the Learning Garden for a workshop that will nurture your soul. Together with Lori Snyder, we’re inviting you to explore the intersection of nature and city landscape, as we learn about plant identification, harvest times, what specific plants offer, and how to incorporate this knowledge into a modern lifestyle. An exclusive event that will bring you closer to a First Nations perspective, focused on their wisdom and edible, and medicinal qualities.
Please remember to dress appropriately since this is an outdoor workshop – rain or shine, we’ll still be outside.
Instructor Bio:
Lori Snyder is a Metis herbalist, educator, mother, story-teller, and instructor who shares the wisdom and traditions of her indigenous Tsuu T’ina roots. Assinboine, Cree, Ojibwe, and Nipissing Nations blend with her Scottish, French, and Celtic ancestry.
Lori offers workshops on foraging for food and medicine to different communities around Metro Vancouver, Coast Salish territories.
