About Embark Sustainability

Embark Sustainability is a resource hub empowering SFU students on their sustainability journeys through dialogue and transformative action. Our mission is to create a hub that empowers and resources SFU students and allies in their sustainability journeys. We serve transformative communities by centring anti-oppression, decolonization, and equity in impactful programming, events, and initiatives. Through this work, we spark dialogue and drive action to dismantle oppressive frameworks within institutions and our interconnected climate and food systems.

About the Role

Climate Equity Facilitators will work with the Climate Equity Coordinator and other collective members on planning monthly Climate Equity workshops and 1 Climate Equity event. In this exciting role, you will develop event planning and outreach skills while exploring intersectional climate action and the connections between climate justice and racial justice. You will create space for SFU students to get involved, learn, and take action on Climate Equity issues through engagement, workshops and events planned and hosted by you. This is a perfect opportunity if you’re ready to facilitate creative and exciting learning avenues for students in an environmental non-profit setting.
