Their artistic practice is informed by movements for queer ecology\, ecofeminism\, international solidarities\, and community archival practices. \n \n \n \nNaomi appreciates how photography\, art\, and archival practices drive them to critically (re)imagine how livable and liberated histories\, realities\, and futures can feel\, look\, and sound like. Naomi is a senior researcher in the psychology of climate justice lab at UBC and a MSc candidate for Occupational and Environmental Health Sciences. They have a background in climate justice education programming and policy change with UBC Sustainability\, The Climate Justice Organizing HUB\, Sustainabiliteens\, Climate Education Reform BC\, Asha Collective\, and Be the Change Earth Alliance. \nAs a queer and genderqueer racialized artist and organizer\, they intimately know the gap in funding and mobilization of mental health support for their own communities’ well-being.
