About this Event

Are you a SFU student interested in enhancing your engagement in food security and environmental sustainability activities with BC First Nations communities? This N-EAT event is an opportunity to engage in dialogue and learning around the intersection of indigenous governance, food security and environmental sustainability of First Nations communities.

Join us on November 25th, in learning about solutions and engaging in dialogue to brainstorm what SFU student involvement could look like.

Acknowledgments

This event is being hosted on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. In particular, this includes the land of the Tsleil-Waututh, Musqueam, Skwxwú7mesh, and Kwikwetlem nations where we work, live, and play.

Accessibility

This event is hosted at SFU Burnaby Campus in Halpern Centre which is wheelchair accessible.

This is a collaboration between Embark, N-Eat, SFU Faculty of Environment and Pacific Water Research Centre. Embark events are free and open to Embark members which includes Simon Fraser University undergraduate and graduate students, as well as Embark Associate Members.
