SUMMARY:Canadian Climate Impact

Unceded means that this land was never surrendered\, transferred or relinquished in any way and\, as such\, the land remains sovereign Indigenous territory. \nIt is our intention to ground our session in Indigenous sovereignty over the lands and waters we call home\, and use this time together to unpack the colonial systems of power (including Canadian governance) that perpetuate the climate crisis. \nACCESSIBILITY \nEmbark Sustainability events are free and open to Embark members which includes Simon Fraser University undergraduate and graduate students\, as well as Embark Associate Members. \nThis event will be held indoors at the Embark Studio\, room #1310 of the Student Union Building (SUB)\, SFU Burnaby.
