Sail(ish) Screening & Luke Wallace Record Release

Release_Poster_8.5x11-01.pngEmbark is proud to host an uplifting night of film and music at City Studio's fantastic space under the Cambie St. Bridge! Sail(ish) will be screened, followed by a musical performance by Luke Wallace and a Q+A with the people behind the documentary.

About Sail(ish): Sail(ish) is a documentary that follows the story of The Salish Sea Tour 2015. This tour took place in the summer of 2015 where 6 changemakers embarked on a journey through the Salish Sea aboard a solar electric powered catamaran. The crew left with the goal of celebrating communities along the Kinder Morgan Tanker route and uniting them around the protection of the area and a transition toward renewable energies.

The documentary was created by UBC students Luke Wallace and Ali Harris. The films' soundtrack was written by Luke Wallace and will be released as his third independant record.

Entrance is free, and donations accepted at the door (any amount!). Proceeds go to supporting Embark's sustainability work and the film makers' goal to share this story far and wide.
