Embark is a growing, student-led non-profit based out of Simon Fraser University with more than 30,000 members. We empower students to lead positive, sustainable change across the university and in surrounding communities. The Photography Assistant will help document photos at various Embark events, workshops and weekly programs and reports to the Media Coordinator.
Photograph and document Embark programs and events
Work alongside the Media Coordinator and the other Communication Assistant(s) to share photos to be used on our social media channels and other various marketing purposes
Attend meetings with the Communications Team periodically
Ideal candidate is looking to build their portfolio, have some digital photography experience and has a knack for visuals
Working knowledge in using Photoshop and Light Room to edit digitally is a plus
Pays close attention to detail and has a knack for visuals
Well organized and able to work independently
Access to a good quality camera (eg. DSLR) is ideal
A desire to work with an engaged team of passionate students!
