Embark is an independent, student-led not-for-profit society based out of Simon Fraser University. We empower our 35,000 undergraduate and graduate student members to become sustainability leaders through grants, training, and engagement.
Embark is creating a sustainable future through student leadership, advocacy, and capacity building within the SFU campus community.
An engaged campus community of students, faculty and administration that collaborate in promoting environmental, social, and economic sustainability while contributing to a broader community movement for a more sustainable future.
All graduate and undergraduate students at Simon Fraser University are members of Embark. Others can support our efforts by becoming Associate members. We currently represent more than 35,000 SFU students and are committed to responsibly, transparently, and accountably serving them as our members. For a small semesterly sustainability levy ($2 for full-time students, $1 for part-time students) our combined resources add up to meaningful collective action advancing sustainability at SFU.
