About

Embark is an independent, student-led not-for-profit society based out of Simon Fraser University. We empower our 30,000+ undergraduate and graduate student members to lead sustainable change through grants, training, and engagement.

Our Mission

Embark is creating a sustainable future through student leadership, advocacy, and capacity building within the SFU campus community.

Our Members

All graduate and undergraduate students at Simon Fraser University are members of Embark. Others can support our efforts by becoming Associate members. We currently represent more than 30,000 SFU students and are committed to responsibly, transparently, and accountably serving them as our members. For a small semesterly sustainability levy ($2 for full-time students, $1 for part-time students) our combined resources add up to meaningful collective action advancing sustainability at SFU and empowering its students.
